The Cl@ve app

The Cl@ve APP allows citizens to authenticate themselves in the process they are carrying out by confirming the request through Cl@ve Móvil or by receiving the Cl@ve PIN that they request to access a management. All this in a single APP.

The Cl@ve APP combines in a single site the possibility of being identified electronically to authenticate in a procedure, either through Cl@ve Móvil or Cl@ve PIN in relations with the Public Administrations.

To make use of the services of the Cl@ve APP it is necessary to be registered in the Cl@ve system.

You can download the app inGoogle Play, Huawei AppGallery, for Android operating system, and inApple Store, for iOS operating system.

APP users Cl@ve PIN

Users of the Cl@ve PIN APP will be updated to the new version of the Cl@ve APP and once activated they will already receive on their device the authentication requests with Cl@ve Mobile and the PIN of Cl@ve PIN for the management they want to perform.

Registered users at Cl@ve

The user already registered in Cl@ve who is downloading the APP for the first time will be able to identify and activate it through three options: with an activation code sent by SMS, with an electronic certificate or through DNIe.

You can select an already imported certificate or import a new certificate to activate it in the APP.

To activate the APP through DNIe, it is essential that you have an electronic DNI and a mobile device with Android operating system and NFC technology. To do this, you must enter the card access number (CAN) and bring the electronic ID to the mobile device to read.

Users not registered at Cl@ve

For users not registered in Cl@ve, the APP offers three guided options to access the registration from the APP itself: with an electronic certificate, by video call or by letter to the tax office.

In addition to authenticating with Cl@ve Mobile in the administrative procedure you are carrying out, the Cl@ve APP also allows you to obtain a PIN of Cl@ve PIN to identify yourself in a management.

Request from Cl@ve PIN

The Cl@ve APP provides you with the PIN for any management you do with Cl@ve PIN:

  1. Access the management you want to perform.
  2. You will be redirected to the Cl@ve gateway; select Cl@ve PIN.
  3. Enter your DNI/NIE and validity date the DNI (or date of issuance if it is a permanent DNI) or NIE support number.
  4. Press Get PIN; the PIN will be available in the Cl@ve APP.
  5. Click on the notification that has arrived on your mobile device or open the APP. There you will be shown the expiry time and you will be able to access the PIN with the authentication factor (unlocking) that you have configured on your mobile device (pattern, fingerprint, etc.) .
