Frequently asked questions about Cl@ve (FAQs)

Depending on the characteristics of the service you want to access, some method of identification may not be available.

This is because the level of security required for access to that service is higher than that which can be provided by that method of identification (for example, because the service handles specially protected personal data).

The permanent Cl@ve system has two modes of use, the normal and the reinforced.

In the normal use mode, it is only necessary to provide the user and password.

However, certain services, by the type of operation and information they handle, need a higher level of security than normal use provides. In that case, to access them it is necessary to use the reinforced mode, identifying in addition to the user and the password, with the key received on the phone.

In order to use Cl@ve with an electronic certificate, it is necessary that this certificate is a certificate of natural person or recognized public employee, included in the "List of Certification Service Providers" (TSL) of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism.

In case the password is forgotten or is blocked because the maximum number of 5 failed attempts is exceeded, you can set a new password as long as you have retained the activation code. To do this, you must access the password forgetting service and follow the steps indicated there.

If you have not kept the activation code, you can get a new code by registering again at Cl@ve.

If you need additional help to use the Cl@ve system, you can obtain it through the following means:

  • By phone, calling the phone number 060
  • Leaving a message in our Mailbox of attention.
