Where can I use it?

You can use the identification mechanisms provided in Cl@ve in all the e-government services integrated in the system. The integrated services are distinguished because they will have, on the screen of access to them, a button similar to the following symbology that will redirect you to the authentication system Cl@ve:

clave 24
clave 24

Currently, Cl@ve is available for all electronic services of the General State Administration, in all Autonomous Communities and in most Local Entities. Thus, with the Cl@ve system you can, for example, consult your Citizen Folder , submit your Income statement or view your tax data, consult your clinical information, your DGT points, download your working life or obtain the COVID digital certificate.

The Cl@ve system was approved by Agreement of the Council of Ministers at its meeting of 19 September 2014, and conditions they are determined by the Directorate of Information and Communication Technologies.

Cl@ve is connected to the eIDAS node, which allows cross-border recognition of electronic identities according to European legislation. You can consult the systems notified by the different countries in the following links:

E-Government Portal – Notified e-Identification Systems
European Commission – Notified electronic identification systems

Remember that to obtain these identification mechanisms and use them in Cl@ve, it is necessary to have previously registered with any of the procedures provided (you can expand this information in the section of Registration ).
