Username activation

This service allows you to activate your Permanent Cl@ve username and create your own access password.

In order to activate your Permanent Cl@ve username, you must access the activation service, in which you will be required to enter your username (DNI or NIE), email address (as additional comparison data) as well as the activation code provided during registration.

Access the service

If these are correct, the system will send you a sms with a one time numerical password, to be typed into the relevant form field. If it is correct, the system will allow you to set the password you wish, provided it meets certain minimum security parameters. You must use said password from now on every time it is required by an electronic administration service.

If the activation code is typed in incorrectly 5 times or more, the system will inform you and subsequently block the activation code. In this case, a new activation code will be necessary, and you will have to complete the registration process again in Cl@ve.

Password management

If you forgot your password or simply need to change it, you may set it again anytime by one of the following procedures:

For expiration or security reasons, you may want to change your password. To do so, access the password change service and follow the steps described there.

If you forgot your password or if it gets blocked after exceeding the maximum number of 5 failed attempts, you may set a new password provided you keep the activation code. To do so, you must access the forgotten password service, then follow the steps set out there.

In case you do not keep your activation code, you may obtain a new activation code by registering again in Cl@ve.

Cancellation of username

You may cancel your Permanent Cl@ve username by using this service.

If for any reason you do not want to keep your Permanent Cl@ve username active, you must use the cancellation service, which may be accessed either using your current Permanent Cl@ve or your digital certificate.

If you access with your Permanent Cl@ve, once it has been entered, the system will send you an SMS with a numerical verification code that you must type into the relevant form field; if it is correct the system will cancel your Permanent Cl@ve username.

If you forgot your password and want to cancel your username, you may access using your digital certificate. In that case, we will not request the verification code and cancellation will be completed immediately.

If you wish to activate your Permanent Cl@ve later on, you must carry out the registration procedure in Cl@ve again.

 

Requisitos de seguridad de las contraseñas

Para que el sistema tenga un cierto nivel de seguridad, es necesario que la contraseña de acceso cumpla unos requisitos mínimos que la hagan robusta frente a ataques dirigidos a su obtención.

Los principales requisitos que se exigen a la contraseña de Cl@ve permanente son:

• Deberá tener una longitud mínima de 8 caracteres.
• Deberá contener al menos un carácter de cada uno de los siguientes grupos: letras minúsculas, letras mayúsculas, dígitos y caracteres especiales.
• Las letras ñ y ç, así como las vocales con tilde se consideran letras permitidas. Como caracteres especiales se podrá utilizar alguno de los siguientes:
• ¡!$?%&#@/\()=¿?*[];,:._<>+-
• Si la contraseña tiene una longitud igual o superior a 16 caracteres no habrá restricciones en el tipo de caracteres a utilizar (esto permite utilizar una frase completa como contraseña).
• La contraseña no podrá contener el nombre, apellidos o DNI.
• En la renovación de la contraseña no se podrá utilizar la contraseña anterior.

Tu contraseña caduca a los 2 años, siendo obligatorio su cambio pasado este tiempo. Si accedes al servicio pasado este tiempo, se te solicitará que renueves tu contraseña. También puedes modificarla en cualquier momento a través del servicio de Cambio de Contraseña, momento a partir del cual contarás con otros 2 años de vigencia.

Recomendaciones de seguridad de las contraseñas

Adicionalmente, es recomendable seguir las siguientes directrices en la creación y gestión de contraseñas seguras:

• Evitar usar la misma contraseña que utilice usted ya en otros sistemas o servicios.
• No utilizar información personal en la contraseña: nombre propio o de familiares, ni apellidos, ni fechas de nacimiento. Y, por supuesto, en ninguna ocasión utilizar datos como el DNI o número de teléfono.
• Evitar utilizar secuencias básicas de teclado (por ejemplo: “asdf” o las numéricas: “1234”, etc.
• No repetir los mismos caracteres en la misma contraseña. (ej.: “111222”).
• No utilizar datos relacionados con el usuario que sean fácilmente deducibles, o derivados de estos. (ej: no poner como contraseña apodos, el nombre del actor o de un personaje de ficción preferido, etc.).
• No escribir ni reflejar la contraseña en un papel o documento donde quede constancia de la misma, ni enviarla nunca por correo electrónico o en un sms. Tampoco se debe facilitar ni mencionar en una conversación o comunicación de cualquier tipo.
