How can I register?
Cl@ve is an electronic identity verification platform for the identification and authentication of citizens in their transactions with Public Administrations. It allows identification with full security guarantees.
The first step is to register with Cl@ve, for which there are four modalities corresponding to two levels of registration:
Basic Registration
- Through the Internet by video call (Service Temporarily Deactivated)
- Through the Internet with an invitation letter
Advanced Registration
You must bear in mind that registering online with an invitation letter or via video call provides a basic level of registration, so access to certain services or the use of Cl@ve Firma will not be permitted. Some organisations or services require an advanced level of registration (in person or with an electronic certificate) to access their procedures.
Once registration in Cl@ve has been completed in any of the modalities described above, the citizen will receive, on the telephone number they have just registered, a welcome SMS to the system. Upon receipt of this SMS, the registered citizen can now use the Cl@ve PIN system and access the password activation systems of the permanent Cl@ve system.
